29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a.) 91 W Market St, Newark, NJ 07103 The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls. Employees engaged in construction activities on a commercial building worked at or near the outside edge of the building during demolition activities and were not attached with a fall harness and lanyard or had any other means of fall protection. Violation observed on or about April 18, 2022. The Landsmark Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 C.F.R. 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1462843, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/04/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 20 Sumo Village Ct., Spring Valley, NY 10977.
