29 CFR 1926.502(j)(1): Toeboards were not erected along the edge of the overhead walking/working surface for a distance sufficient to protect employees below: (a) Murray & Stafford Inc. at 7435 Sisters Grove Colorado Springs, CO 80923: On or before 4/19/22 the exposing, correcting, and controlling employer did not protect employees and subcontractor employees from injury in that guard rails protecting mechanical chases were not equipped with toeboards. This condition exposed employees and subcontractor employees to falling object hazards. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.701(b):All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: (a) Murray & Stafford Inc. at 7435 Sisters Grove Colorado Springs, CO 80923: On or before 4/19/22 the exposing, correcting, and controlling employer did not protect employees and subcontractor employees from injury in that three stormwater boxes with protruding rebar were not equipped with rebar caps or other methods of ensuring rebar did not present an impalement hazard. This condition exposed employees and subcontractor employees to impalement hazards. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.
