29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1):The employer did not did not designate a competent person to monitor the safety of other employees and/or did not ensure that the safety monitor complied with the requirements listed in (h)(1)(i) through (h)(1)(v) of this section: a) Jobsite, 301 South Hills Village, Pittsburgh, PA; On or about April 20, 2022, employees were working on a flat roof that had sections of it flagged but when they were outside of the flagging, there was not a safety monitor nor any other type of fall protection being utilized to protect employees from a fall hazard of approximately 18 feet to the ground below.
