29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: On or about June 9, 2022, employees were exposed to electrical hazards due to electrical equipment not being used in accordance with its listing or labeling: a. ADFAST Grommet Machine, Model Eagle III 2.0, Serial Number III192-01-22, located on the dividing wall of the production area was plugged into a red extension cord which was plugged into a relocatable power tap which was plugged into the wall outlet. The relocatable power tap was not being used for its intended purpose. b. Commercial Electric fan was plugged into an orange pigtail extension cord which was plugged into a yellow extension cord which was plugged into a relocatable power tap which was plugged into the wall outlet. The relocatable power tap was not being used for its intended purpose. c. Sewing Machine, Model 37U2358, Serial Number U20-579001, was plugged into a yellow extension cord which was plugged into a relocatable power tap which was plugged into the wall outlet. The relocatable power tap was not being used for its intended purpose.
