29 CFR 1926.416(e)(1):Worn or frayed electric cords or cables shall not be used. The employer failed to protect employees from electrical shock. This was most recently documented on or about April 27th, 2022, in Gretna, Nebraska. Employees were engaged in residential construction and they were using an extension cord that had damaged sheathing that generated electricity to their power tools that were being used on the job site.
