29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a)Reyes Roofing, L.L.C., at 8126 East Norway Pine Trail, Sioux Falls, SD 57110: On or about and at times prior to May 2, 2022, the exposing employer did not ensure employees performing roofing activities on a residential, 5-in-12 pitch roof at heights greater than six feet above ground level, were protected from fall hazards by use of appropriate fall protection systems. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards greater than six feet. Reyes Roofing, L.L.C., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1396551, citation number 1, item number 1a, and was affirmed as a final order on September 6, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 8804 West 18th Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57106.
