29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about April 29, 2022, employees operating Line 6 were exposed to amputation hazards because employees were able to reach through the guard and access the moving carrousel of the capper. An employee's right middle finger tip was amputated by the capper carrousel while trying to restart the capper.
