29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: (a) DISCOUNT TIRE COMPANY OF COLORADO, INC. at 740 Highway 287 North, Lafayette, CO 80026: On and before May 9, 2022, the employer did not keep all exit routes free and unobstructed, as the exit route in the compressor room located in the Northeast portion of the building had a the exit barred from the interior to prevent theft during non-operational hours, and had equipment in the way of the exit route, including a ten ton portable vehicle jack. This condition exposed employees to health and safety hazards associated with exposure to fire and smoke.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1): Employers did not have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use: (a) DISCOUNT TIRE COMPANY OF COLORADO, INC. at 740 highway 287 North, Lafayette, CO 80026: On and before May 9, 2022, the employer did not have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use, in that the employer did not have the safety data sheet for "Kilfrost PNEUMATIC ANTI-FREEZE AIR LINE & TOOL LUBRICANT" readily available onsite. This condition exposed employees to health hazards associated with a chemical classified as an irritant and hazardous to human health.
