29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about May 10, 2022, employees were performing electrical sign work on a working platform at a height greater than six feet above without adequate fall protection. Commercial Signs was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.501(b)(15), which was contained in: A) OSHA Inspection #1487291, citation number 1, item number 2, with a citation issued November 23, 2020, was affirmed as a final order on December 3, 2020, concerning a workplace located at 10011 Dawnadele Ave, BATON ROUGE, LA 70809.
