29 CFR  1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system:   a) On or about May 9, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing roofing operations on a flat roof  were not protected by any means of fall protection including, but not limited to, guardrails and warning lines, thereby, exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately fifteen (15) feet two (2) inches.  Byrne-Johnson Roofing Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1925.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1547908, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 27, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 14600-30 John Humphry Drive, Orland Park, IL 60462.  Byrne-Johnson Roofing Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1925.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1471012, citation number  1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 2, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1001 West 191st Street,  Mokena, IL 60448.
