29 CFR 1910.25(b)(2): Vertical clearance above any stair tread to any overhead obstruction was not at least 6 feet, 8 inches (203 cm), as measured from the leading edge of the tread. a) Turbine 1, South side, ground level staircase: On or about 18 May, 2022, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to physical injury from trip and fall hazards, in that an obstruction was placed across the stairway needed to access the Turbine 1 area for maintenance operations.
