Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to rollover and caught in hazards while operating a lawnmower. At Union Point Housing Development on Bill Delahunt Parkway, Weymouth, MA 02190, on or about May 19, 2022 an employee was exposed to a rollover, fall and, struck by hazard while operating a green Hustler Super S Stand On Mower (SN: 16113784/Model: 935361). The employee was mowing grass on a slope of approximately 20.5 degrees. In accordance with the Operating's Manual the stand on lawnmower is not to be operated on slopes greater than 15 degrees.
