29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1):Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c). The employer failed to protect employees from cave-in hazards. This was most recently documented on or about May 27th, 2022, in Gretna, Nebraska 68028. Multiple employees were observed working in an unprotected trench at depths greater than 6 feet. Dave Janke Plumbing Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.652(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1519178, citation number 1, item number 1and was affirmed as a final order on 10-12-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 6990 N 172nd Street, Bennington, NE 68007.
