29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms.  a- 6 East Surf Avenue, Long Beach NJ, East Facing Side  - A worker was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of  12 feet 6 inches to the ground surface below, when performing siding installation and other related activities from a pump jack scaffold whose walking and working surface was not supplied with a screen and it was missing end stops on both of  its ends. Condition observed on or about 05/31/22.  a- 6 East Surf Avenue, Long Beach NJ, North Facing Side - A worker was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of  19 feet 8 inches to the ground surface below, when performing siding installation and other related activities from a pump jack scaffold whose walking and working surface was not supplied with a screen and it was missing end stops on both of  its ends. Condition observed on or about 05/31/22.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
