29 CFR 1910.141(b)(1)(i): Potable water was not provided in all places of employment, for drinking, washing of the person, cooking, washing of foods, washing of cooking or eating utensils, washing of food preparation or processing premises, and personal: Security Gates: On or about June 03, 2022, employees conducted security gate sentry tasks that involved being outside for extended periods of time for up to 12 hours in the sun and heat. The employer had not provided potable water to drink during work shifts at the following locations: a) Main Gate b) San Onofre Gate c) San Luis Rey Gate Employees exposed to dehydration and heat exposure hazards.

29 CFR 1910.132(d)(2): The employer did not verify, through a written certification, that the required workplace hazard assessment had been performed: Security Gate, Locker Room: On or before June 03, 2022, employees used chemicals without the employer conducting and documenting a hazard assessment of the tasks assigned to the employees. The following locations: a) Building 1522 Locker Room: Employees used Krud Kutter, Clorox wipes, EcosPro toilet cleaner, and ZEP Spirit II sanitizer during non-routine toilet spill cleanup. b) San Onofre Gate: Employees used Krud Kutter, Clorox wipes, EcosPro toilet cleaner, and ZEP Spirit II sanitizer during toilet spill cleanup. Employees were exposed to eye and dermal irritations.
