29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) 600 Greenfield Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15207, On or about June 17th 2022, employees were not protected from fall hazards of approximately 25 feet while installing a new roof on a funeral home roof that was measured at a 14/12 pitch. Employees were installing a new asphalt shingle roof and no fall protection was in use. i.e. harnesses, guard rails, etc.
