29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a. On or about June 21, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee performing carpentry operations on a new house, approximately thirty (30) feet above the ground, was not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employee to fall hazards. MAS Carpentry Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1561235, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 10, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 175 Hawthorne, Elmhurst, IL 60126. MAS Carpentry Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1334923, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 2, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 16W603 Whit Pine Rd. Bensenville, IL 60106.
