29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): Within twenty-four (24) hours after the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees or an employee's amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident, you must report the in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye to OSHA. a) Aggie Creek, Fairbanks - On or about June 17, 2022 the employer did not report the in-patient hospitalization of an employee with injuries that resulted in hospitalization within the twenty-four (24) hour timeframe; rather, it was reported on 21 June 2022 . The U.S Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1904.39(a)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1579536, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 10, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at Umpqua National Forest S. O.
