OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were not protected from the hazard of high ambient heat while performing jobs duties:  On or about July 7, 2022, employees were exposed to high ambient heat from excessive heat from the temperature inside of the shop near the U2 Line during the performance of their job duties, including bending, pulling, pushing, and lifting loads to move boards from the inbound to U2 line and employees were exposed for greater than 3-hours a day.  The per measurement taken with the Wet Bulb Globe Thermometer (WBGT) indicated readings from inside of the establishment from 1 to 3 PM a heat index of approximately 108 degrees Fahrenheit.  Such exposures are likely to lead to lead to the development of serious heat-related illnesses such as, but not limited to, heat cramps, heat stress, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke.
