On or about 7/29/2022, pistons used for depositing muffin batter into pans on a Hinds-Bock Portable 6P-08 Muffin and Batter Depositor machine were not guarded, allowing employees the ability to reach into the area where the pistons are located.

Industries, Inc. dba Muffin Town was previously cited for a substantially similar violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1176149, Citation 1, Item 1, and was affirmed a final order on 4/17/17, with respect to a workplace located at 130 Crescent Ave, Chelsea, MA 02150.
