29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: On or about August 4, 2022, the employer failed to ensure that employees who were exposed to hazards, such as but not limited to, pressurized chemical and water steam while operating the autoclave equipment, were issued and required to wear personal protective equipment (heat and chemical resistant aprons, sleeves, and gloves) that would protect them from said hazards. The employer was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or it's equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection #1450691, citation 1, item 1a, which was affirmed as final order on February 14, 2020, with respect to the workplace located at 101 China Street, Crooksville, OH 43731.
