29 CFR  1915.36(a)(3):  Scrapings and rags soaked with liquid solvents, paint or preservative removers, paints or vehicles capable of producing a flammable atmosphere under the conditions of use were not kept in a covered metal container:  M/V Apache:  On or before August 2, 2022, employees conducted vessel preservation operations such as removing and applying paint from and to boat decks and used plastic, open containers to store used rags containing paint and/or paint solvents.  Employees were exposed to fire hazards.
