29 CFR  1910.22(c): The employer did not provide, and ensure each employee uses, a safe means of access and egress to and from walking-working surfaces.  a) On or about August 5, 2022, the employer failed to ensure employees were not exposed to access and egress hazards at a stair entrance near the middle of the pickling line in the Special Metals Processing Facility (SMPF). Hosing, approximately two inches in diameter, was positioned across the entrance to stairs connecting a platform that led to the catwalk, which created the trip and fall access and egress hazard.
