29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2): Surface conditions. The employer must ensure: The floor of each workroom is maintained in a clean and, to the extent feasible, in a dry condition. When wet processes are used, drainage must be maintained and, to the extent feasible, dry standing places, such as false floors, platforms, and mats must be provided. A) On or about July 20, 2022 the employer did not ensure that in the manifold area that hoses were cleaned up to the extent feasible to prevent employee exposure to wet floors and hoses that created a tripping hazard.

1910.141(a)(3) Housekeeping 29 CFR 1910.141(a)(3)(ii):The floor of every workroom shall be maintained, so far as practicable, in a dry condition. Where wet processes are used, drainage shall be maintained and false floors, platforms, mats, or other dry standing places shall be provided, where practicable, or appropriate waterproof footgear shall be provided. a) On or about August 17, 2022 the employer did not ensure that the floor in the manifold area was maintained in a dry condition in that products such as but not limited to fire resistant hydraulic fluid and antifreeze, was covering the floor where employees were hooking and unhooking product hoses.

29 CFR 1910.22(d): Inspection, maintenance, and repair. The employer must ensure: (1) Inspection, maintenance, and repair. The employer must ensure:(1) Walking-working surfaces are inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition; (2) Hazardous conditions on walking-working surfaces are corrected or repaired before an employee uses the walking-working surface again. If the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard must be guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired; and a) On or about July 20, 2022, the employer did not ensure that hazardous conditions, such as spilled chemicals and hoses, were repaired before employees hooked and unhooked chemical hoses lying on both sides of the manifolds. b) On or about August 17, 2022, the employer did not ensure that the manifold area was inspected regularly and necessary to be maintain in a safe condition for employees that are loading or unloading product, such as but not limited to, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, antifreeze/ coolant and fire resistant hydraulic fluid, to prevent slips, trips, and fall hazards from the hoses and chemicals.
