29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service, and shall not be placed in service if the examination shows any condition adversely affecting the safety of the vehicle. Such examination shall be made at least daily:   The employer is failing to ensure employees in the Shipping Area of Eaton Corporation located at 4200 Highway 30 East, Kearney, Nebraska were not exposed to struck by hazards while operating powered industrial trucks. The employer failed to ensure that inspections for defects and damage of powered industrial trucks were being performed, at least daily, before they were put in service.
