29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2):The employer did not determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees were to work on, had the strength and structure integrity to support employees safely. 101 Central Berkshire Blvd. Pittsfield, MA 01201: On August 18th, 2022, a maintenance supervisor was tracing conduit on top of a 10 ft. tall office structure and the employer had not determined if the walking surface had the strength or structural integrity to support the load. The supervisor then fell through the drop ceiling and injured another employee who was working in the office below.
