29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) On or about August 22, 2022 the employer did not ensure that effective machine guarding was in place on the Core Cutter machine. Employees are not protected from the pinch point of the table movement as well as the self feeding portion of the equipment.   b)  On or about August 22, 2022 the employer did not ensure that effective machine guarding was in place on the #10 label press line. Employees are not protected from  the ingoing nip points of the feeding system or moving machine components. Barrier guarding was not present to prevent employees from reaching into the area during operation.
