29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames,  or uprights did not bear on base plates, mud sills or other adequate firm foundation:   The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards while working from a fabricated frame scaffold. This was most recently documented at the jobsite located at 7240 Shawnee Mission Parkway Overland Park, Kansas where employees were engaged in stucco work from a fabricated frame scaffold with inadequate and missing base plates. Employees were exposed to fall distance of approximately 8 feet to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Scaffolds and scaffold components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity:   The employer is failing to protect employees from hazards associated with scaffold collapse by ensuring that scaffolds are inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift. The violation was most recently documented at a jobsite, located at 7240 Shawnee Mission Parkway Overland Park, Kansas where employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 8 feet while working on a scaffold  that was not inspected for structural integrity before being used by employees.

29 CFR  1926.451(h)(1):Each employee on a scaffold was not provided with additional protection from falling hand tools, debris, and other small objects through the installation of toeboards, screens, guardrail systems, or through the erection of debris nets, catch platforms, or canopy structures that contain or deflect the falling objects.  For falling objects too large, heavy or massive to be contained or deflected, the employer did not place and secure such potential falling objects away from the edge of the surface from which they could fall.  The employer is failing to protect employees from struck-by hazards while working around a fabricated frame scaffold. This was most recently documented at the jobsite located at 7240 Shawnee Mission Parkway Overland Park, Kansas where employees were engaged in stucco work from a fabricated frame scaffold without toeboards and/or any protection from falling hand tools, and/or debris..
