29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: On or about September 6, 2022, and at times prior to, employees engaged in acid production were exposed to hazardous and injurious chemicals and were not provided with adequate eyewash/shower stations and flushing fluids in the following areas: a. eyewash station 1, inside the containment area; and, b. eyewash station 3, in the blending area. Pencco, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.151(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1381021, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 3, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 831 Bartlett Road, Sealy, Texas 77474.
