Location: 2256/1--2256/13 Oak Ridge Drive, Aurora, IL 60502  On or about September 2, 2022,  employee(s) engaged in residential roofing operations were exposed to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic nail guns without eye protection.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):  Location:  2256/1--2256/13 Oak Ridge Drive, Aurora, IL 60502:  On or about September 2, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employee(s) performing residential roofing operations, nineteen (19) feet, eight (8) inches above the ground, were not protected by falls, thereby exposing the employee(s) to fall hazards.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).   A&J Roofing Experts was previously cited under A&J Roofing Corporation, for this violation of this Occupational Safety & Health Standard 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA Inspection No. 1497412, citation number 1, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on December 18, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 154 Norfolk Avenue, Clarendon Hills, IL 60514.
