OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to falling from elevated work areas: On or about July 22, 2022, and at times prior there to, employees working at the incline vacuum were exposed to a fall hazard when 16 feet above the ground.

29 CFR 1928.57(c)(2)(i):The mesh or nip-points of all power driven gears, belts, chains, sheaves, pulleys, sprockets, and idlers shall be guarded. On or about July 22, 2022, and at times there to, power driven belts that are used to move the internal components of the incline vacuum are on the outside and exposed to the employees when in operation. This caught in hazard exposed employees who walked and worked in that immediate area.

On or about July 22, 2022, and at times there to, a shaft that is used in the vacuum process of the cotton gin was exposed and unguarded. This exposed employees to caught in hazards.
