29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   At jobsite located at 2406 Cooper Wichita, KS, employees engaged in residential re-roofing activities on a 8/12 pitch roof were exposed to fall hazards of 11.1 feet from the eve to the ground in that fall protection was not utilized.  Ever Favela-Perez was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1544635, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 12-08-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 2300 N. Buckner St. Derby, KS.  Ever Favela-Perez was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1306746, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 06-01-2018, with respect to a workplace located at 8427 W. Meadow Pass Wichita, KS.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):Where (a) portable ladder(s) was/were used for access to an upper level landing surface and the ladder's length did not allow the ladder side rails to extend at least 3 feet (0.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed, the ladder was not secured at its top to a rigid support that will not deflect, and/or a grasping device was not provided to assist employees in mounting and dismounting the ladder.    At jobsite located at 2406 Cooper Wichita, KS, employees engaged in residential re-roofing activities were exposed to falls from approximately 11.1 feet, in that the aluminum ladder used to access the roof did not extend 3 feet from the eave of the roof and was not secured.  Ever Favela was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1544635, citation number 2, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 12-08-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 2300 N. Buckner St. Derby, KS.  Ever Favela was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1306746, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 06-01-2018, with respect to a workplace located at 8427 W.
