OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1) The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii):Point of operation guards were not designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of their body in the danger zone during the operating cycle: (a) #52 Slitter- 1 Armco Drive, Lyndora, PA: On or about September 7, 2022, employees were exposed to the point of operation of the pinch rolls when the rolls continued to rotate while the pinch rolls were opened past the affixed guard.
