29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: a) At a worksite located at 1445 W Chestnut Expressway Springfield MO 65802, employees were exposed to health hazards from use of a respirator. Employees were exposed to respiratory hazards when employees were required to use N-95 and tight-fitting elastomeric respirators while dry cutting stone countertops and had not been medically evaluated before being permitted to use a respirator. The employer, Custom Granite & Tile LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.134(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1547558, citation number 1, item number 2/b and was affirmed as a final order on 2/15/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 242 River Rock Rd, Ozark MO.

Employees were exposed to respiratory hazards when employees were required to use N-95 or tight-fitting elastomeric respirators while dry cutting stone countertops and had not been fit tested before being permitted to use a respirator.
