29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:   a) On or about September 14, 2022, a portable extension ladder used to access the roof elevation of the building did not extend at least 3 feet above the landing surface.   No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:    a) On or about September 14, 2022, employees were exposed to eye injury while operating pneumatic nail guns without the benefit of eye protection.  Z1 Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102 (a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1595755, citation 2, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 22, 2022, with respect to a worksite located at 17846 Greenwood Drive, Tinley Park, Illinois.    No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):    a) On or about September 14, 2022, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 18 feet while working without fall protection from pitched roof surfaces.  Z1 Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1595755, citation 2, item 2, and was affirmed as a final order on August 22, 2022, with respect to a worksite located at 17846 Greenwood Drive, Tinley Park, Illinois.   No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.
