The employer fails to ensure ladders used for access extend 3 feet above the upper landing surface as demonstrated on or about 09/14/2022, at Lot #6 Cyrus Cove Drive, Hoover, AL, when the Werner aluminum extension ladder used by employees did not extend 3 feet or more above the landing surface exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately 19 feet. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure ladders are extended at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface. b. The employer fails to ensure ladders used for access extend 3 feet above the upper landing surface as demonstrated on or about 09/14/2022, at Lot #6 Cyrus Cove Drive, Hoover, AL, when the Werner aluminum extension ladder used by employees did not extend 3 feet or above the landing surface exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure ladders are extended at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface.
