29 CFR 1910.304(b)(3)(ii)(C)(3): Each cord set, attachment cap, plug, and receptacle of cord sets, and any equipment connected by cord and plug, except cord sets and receptacles which are fixed and not exposed to damage, were not visually inspected before each day's use for external defects, such as deformed or missing pins or insulation damage, and for indications of possible internal damage. a) Jobsite - On or about September 15, 2022 the employer did not ensure that a cord by the scragg edger missing a ground pin was inspected before use, exposing employees to shock hazards. Southern Packaging, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA Inspection #1560928, Citation 2, Item 2, issued on February 1, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 872 Depot Street Woodville, MS which became a final order on March 15, 2022.
