29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Such programs shall provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers. a) On or about September 16, 2022, employees had been exposed to an uncovered trench drain in the floor for one month as there were no frequent or regular inspections performed by a competent person of the job site. The employees were exposed to a trip hazard which was 12 inches wide, 14 inches deep, and 4 feet long.
