29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(iii): Each employee on a walking/working surface was not protected from objects falling through holes (including skylights) by covers: a) Naval Station Oceana Building #530: On or about 09/21/2022, to supply temporary water to the construction project, an employee removed a cover from a 6-inch hole to install a 1-inch water pipe thus leaving a 5-inch opening. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
