Reference:  ANSI Z358.1 Emergency Eyewash and Shower Standard 5.4.4 The eye wash unit shall be located on the same level as the hazard and the path of travel shall be free of obstructions that may inhibit the immediate use of the equipment.  Building 1: Room 106: Employees conducted cleaning operations of administrative office spaces and restrooms using corrosive chemical materials such as Diversey Super Blue Acid Bowl Cleaner and Clorox Bleach without having an emergency eye wash station in close proximity and available for immediate use.   Employees were exposed to eye burns or blindness.
