29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces are maintained free of hazards such as sharp or protruding objects, loose boards, corrosion, leaks, spills, snow, and ice: a) On or before 10/12/2022, the employer did not ensure that walking working surfaces are maintained free of hazards. An oil leak from a work vehicle was on the floor in an area where two workers were unloading packages from a delivery truck to pallets in the spill area. This condition exposed employees to slip, trip, and fall hazards. b) On or before 10/12/2022, the employer did not ensure that walking working surfaces are maintained free of hazards. Puddles of water were in an area that was used as a vehicle wash bay which did not have adequate drainage. This area is also used to park delivery trucks and vans. This condition exposed employees to slip, trip, and fall hazards.
