29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employers shall develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) will be met: On or about October 12, 2022, employees were using powder toner to refurbish printer cartridges. Employees transfer the powder toner manually during their shift processing approximately 20-40 cartridges a day. Employees also use isopropyl alcohol to clean the cartridges. Employees were exposed to chemical hazards associated with the powder toners and isopropyl alcohol. The employer did not develop, implement and maintain a written hazard communication program for these employees. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements in 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
