At the worksite located at 3209 S. Rangeline Road, Joplin, Missouri: Employees were exposed to fall hazards greater than 6 feet while not utilizing a fall protection system when installing trusses for a new commercial building.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: At the worksite located at 3209 S. Rangeline Road, Joplin, Missouri: Employees were exposed to fall hazards when accessing and egressing the upper level of a commercial structure being erected. The portable ladder in use did not extend 3 feet above the upper landing surface employees were working from.
