29 CFR  1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:  a- 2549 Circle Drive, Manahawkin NJ: Workers were exposed to head injuries from impact or falling objects when they were not protected by protective helmets or hard hats when performing framing and other related activities at the worksite. Condition observed on or about 10/25/22.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a- 2549 Circle Drive, Manahawkin NJ: Workers engaged in wall framing and other related activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet 1 inch to the ground surface below, when working and walking at and near the unprotected edges of a residential structure's second floor without the use of fall protection.  Condition noted  on or about 10/25/22.  b - 2549 Circle Drive, Manahawkin NJ:  Workers engaged in wall framing and other related activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet 1 inch to the ground surface below, when working and walking at and near the unprotected floor opening of a residential structure's second floor without the use of fall protection.  Condition noted  on or about 10/25/22.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. 29 CFR  1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:   a- 2549 Circle Drive, Manahawkin NJ: Workers engaged in wall framing and other related activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet 1 inch to the ground surface below, when working and walking at and near the unprotected edges and floor opening of a residential structure's second floor while not using fall protection.  At the time of the exposures these company workers had not received fall hazard recognition and minimization training.  Condition noted  on or about 10/25/22.   NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:   a- 2549 Circle Drive, Manahawkin NJ:  Workers were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet 1 inch to the ground surface below, when using an aluminum extension ladder whose side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above a landing surface being accessed.   Condition observed on or about 10/25/22.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.
