29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace. a) The Shyft Group dba Utilimaster - 601 Stoney Battery Road, Landisville, PA 17538 - On or about November 3, 2022, employees were voluntarily utilizing 3M Adflo PAPRs with M-Series Speedglas Welding Shields during the galvanized welding process and had not been medically cleared by a physician or other licensed healthcare professional (PLHCP). Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

The Shyft Group dba Utilimaster, 601 Stoney Battery Road, Landisville, PA 17538 - On or about November 3, 2022, employees wearing 3M ADFLO PAPRs on a voluntary basis with M-Series Speedglas Welding Shields during the galvanized welding process were not provided with basic advisory information on respiratory protection as prescribed by 29 CFR 1910.134, Appendix D.
