Daphne, Alabama: On November 8, 2022 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employee to perform roofing activities without using fall protection exposing employees to a fall hazards of 15 feet 8 inches and 10 feet 6 inches to the ground below. 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) At 10988 Native Dancer Ct. Daphne, AL: On November 8, 2022, and at times prior, the employer allowed employees to perform framing activities on a residential home at heights up approximately 15 feet 8 inches and 10 feet 6 inches without first ensuring employees were trained on the hazards associated with falls to include but not limited to setting up and inspecting fall protection and knowing at what height fall protection is required. Jose Guzman DBA Jose Guzman was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1595610, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on September 7, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 10796 Native Dancer Way Daphne, AL.
