29 CFR 1910.138(a): Employers shall select and require employees to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands are exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasions; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes. At the establishment located at 912 Haase Street, Neenah, Wisconsin; the employer did not ensure that each employee using rubber solvent by hand during cleaning operations was required to use hand protection that would prevent skin absorption of the chemical.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(2)(iii): Employees shall be informed of the location and availability of the written hazard communication program, including the required list(s) of hazardous chemicals, and safety data sheets required by this section. At the establishment located at 912 Haase Street, Neenah, Wisconsin; the employer did not ensure that employees were aware of the location that safety data sheets for chemicals being used in the workplace were being kept. Employees used hazardous chemicals, such as but not limited to acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, and rubber solvent.
