29 CFR  1903.19(d)(1):The employer did not submit to the Agency documents demonstrating that abatement is complete for each willful or repeat violation and for any serious violation for which the Agency indicates in the citation that such abatement documentation is required. 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.    On or about November 3, 2022, employees were exposed to fall hazards in excess of sixteen feet while engaged in residential roofing activities. Fall protection was not being utilized while performing roofing activities. Employees were wearing harness and not tied-off to a lifeline lanyard.  Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c).    Gilberto Ortiz dba A&I Exterior Experts  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1622531, citation number 1 item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 02, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 896 S. Hillside Ave., Elmhurst, IL. 60126.  Gilberto Ortiz dba A&I Exterior Experts was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1601215, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order August 25, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 325 N. Blanchard., Wheaton, IL 60187.
