OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to burn hazards:   a.) Tank Farm - On or about November 10, 2022, the employer failed to ensure that employees were protected against potential hazards associated with transferring raw materials at temperatures greater than 180 degrees via product transfer hoses.  Among other methods, feasible and acceptable means of abatement would be: ? Implement standard operating procedures for the transfer of raw materials, including addressing work covering more than one shift, consideration of material characteristics and the environment of the location, evaluation of different physical settings, and the specific application/transfer sources, and PPE. ? To utilize hoses, couplings, and related materials approved for the type of transfer activity and materials involved.
