29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. a) At 30 North Magnolia Rd, Tifton GA, 31794, on or about November 15, 2022, and at times prior to, the employer, Heatcraft Refrigeration Products LLC, the employer exposed employees to caught in hazards, in that poper machine guarding was not in place while employees operated a Tridan Vertical Expander, model LSE-6R-43-96.
